ABOUT ME

"Keep it simple, stupid!"

Founded in 2007, Clearcut Design is the point of convergence of three major aspects of my personality.

Having a background in math, I believe that what is correct and rigorous has to be harmonious, and vice-versa. I have always been fascinated by the ancient rules of composition, the golden number, and other mathematically derived harmonies that still set the mark nowadays in terms of proper design.

For as long as I can remember, I have constantly experimented with different ways to communicate and share my creativity - be it drawing, music, or photography. The right side of my brain was never dominated by its counterpart, but instead worked with it to create works of art that responded to both raw inspiration and consious purpose.

Additionally, I spent several years teaching in elementary school. That experience taught me an invaluable ability: understanding exactly how a six-year old processes information. The key here is to present any new concept in the most straightforward way, never assuming that what seems evident to you is necessarily obvious to your interlocutor.

Clearcut Design is the balanced combination of these three key elements. My design work obeys the universal rules of art, feeds off of my evergrowing creativity, while my ability to communicate things in the most simple way makes my creations always accessible to the intended audience.

What I can do for you

I pride myself in delivering web sites that are straight to the point, easy to navigate, and judiciously structured.

My goal is not to win art contests, nor to create designs that only I can enjoy and understand. I want to offer my pragmatism, my ability to communicate and to anticipate my audience's reaction, to your business or your organization. I want your visitors to be able to find their way around your site right away, naturally, effortlessly. I want your potential clients to find out within three seconds what it is you're selling, doing or offering.

In today's online landscape, you cannot expect web users to dedicate more than a few seconds per page they visit. Your content is king, and my job is to make sure that it is presented in the best possible way, with elegance, impact and most importantly, efficacy.
